Well hello there! Now that you have stumbled upon my blog, bare with me as I tell you a little bit about myself.
- My name is Alycia Marie McKitrick
- I was born on May 3rd, 1996
- I just recently graduated from Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School
- My home is in Calgary, AB, CANADA (woohoo)
- I used to live in Huntington Beach, California but all my loyalty lies in Canada
- I am the oldest of four daughters (yes, yes that IS a lot of estrogen)
- My wonderful parents are Dave and Cynthia McKitrick
- At the moment I aspire to one day be a sort of singing missionary nurse lady, because.. ya know.. that’s a thing
- My love of music comes second only after my love for Jesus
- I have a strange love/curiosity with old swing and jazz music
- Although I have never even attempted to play it, I think the alto saxophone makes one of the most beautiful sounds in the world, actually any sort of saxophone is high on that list
- My favourite colour is a 3-way tie between yellow, purple, and blue, okay and also green. I like colour.
- My favourite place I’ve ever been to (so far) is Salzburg, Austria
- I am obsessed with musicals, especially Sound of Music and Les Miserables
- I am a HUGE fan of sushi and basically all oriental cuisine
- I’m not too picky with food, but I will not eat Tuna or Salmon in any other form than sushi
- I ate guinea pig once… I do not suggest it
- As a child I went to Shakespeare camp (I’m supposed to write the really important stuff on here, right?)
- On my 9th birthday I got stung by a stingray
- I have two best friends, Sydney and Brooklyn, who are responsible for keeping me sane everyday (sometimes they fail but that is okay). They are the absolute best and I love them so much
- I have a passion for missions
- I seek to know God and make Him known all over the world!
- I am a child of the King of Heaven and Earth, and love Him with all my heart!
- My goal in life is to worship God and bring Him glory through all I do!
