When I first applied for the World Race, I was nervous and scared for many reasons. One of which, being the fact that I would be traveling the world with people of whom I have never met. I thought I was going to feel alone and awkward meeting all of these new people. Well being the first one accepted into my route, that didn’t really change until two more people were added to the September 2017 Route Facebook page. We automatically clicked and we had a group message, and I felt like I fit in with them.
Well skip to a month and a half later, we have 17 people in our group message. I have so many good friends now, one of which I sent this blog to, to see if it was decent enough to post. But I can confidently say that I no longer have a fear of traveling the world with these people. If anything, I’m excited.
