Lately I’ve been trying to figure out what to blog about. Every day I have just been thinking an answer would just appear. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I got an answer. I was talking to my main dude upstairs, Jesus, and I asked “What do people need to here in my next blog?” And the answer was simply this: “You need to stop updating other people on you spiritual life and update yourself.” As I began to look further and further into this response, I noticed that I have been so caught up in sharing the good news with others, that I have been lacking in opening it up and reading it for myself. I am still praying everyday, but my prayers have gone from 15 minutes long, to 5 minutes long. Instead of studying a chapter a day, I am only study one verse every two days. I have began to feel tired all the time, and in my free time, I sleep. (Literally, like, 3 naps a day.) But as I study more into the good news that the Bible brings, it becomes like a fuel to the soul.
As I write this, I encourage you to drink your daily Jesus juice, and fuel up. It’s hard to stay on fire for God when we aren’t fueling that fire. My prayer for all of you, and for myself, is that we can remember who we really owe our lives to. These lives are not our own, but we are blessed to serve a good, and gracious, God that loves us no matter what.
On a separate note: I leave in 5 days to fly to Atlanta, Georgia, to stay with one of my squad-mates before launch, (which starts on the 8th). I believe, from the 8th to the 11th, we will be getting educated on the ministries and how to handle different situations, but I’m not positive. I do know that we are finally flying to Cambodia from there, and I’M SO STOKED!!! I wanted to let y’all know that I still need about $4531 before December 29th, and I’m praying God will provide, because I won’t be able to do a lot of fundraising while I’m gone. But you can help by spreading the word and telling your friends about what God is doing in my life, or even subscribing to my blog. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me get this far.
I love you all and I hope you have a blessed day. Please keep my squad in your prayers!!
