The truth is this: When I first felt called to the World Race, I thought, “I don’t think I can do this. I love taking showers everyday.” “I love having a full closet to pick outfits from.” “I want to stay safe and in my comfort zone.”

Then I thought back to how I felt when I first dedicated my life to Christ. I have always told myself to “Die to myself and live in Christ.” This is a very small phrase with very big meaning. At first, I only thought about me and what I want then I was reminded that I am not my own.

I’ve learned, since I got accepted, that God calls us out of our comfort zone to strengthen our faith. We don’t always want to do it but it brings us to a better place. It makes you rely only/fully on Christ. I have seen God move in my life in the past few months in the most amazing ways ever.

I know this was a short blog, but I wanted to share what has been on my heart. And don’t forget to live in Christ.
