Hey Everyone! It’s good to finally talk to y’all after the struggle of trying to find WiFi. I’d like to inform you all that I will be coming home. I was planning on staying until January, to honor my supporters, but due to AIM protocol, I am flying home on Friday.

Over the past 4 months, God has been teaching me so much about what it means to have intimacy with him. He has also been revealing to me a few things about myself and changing a lot of stuff in my heart.

When I first left for the race, I thought I had my life together and I thought I’d be fine, but my world got wrecked as soon as I stepped foot in the country of Cambodia. The spiritual darkness was unreal. After going through scripture, and digging deep into who I am, I have discovered many things that I need to break down and even more things that I need to build up. Through all of this uncovering, my life has become an emotional roller coaster. And honestly, I really wasn’t myself for the first 2 months in Cambodia, and I am really happy to be in the beautiful valley for the the 3rd month in Honduras.

Through both of these places, I have been noticing more and more that I’m not ready Mentally, nor physically to be here on the good ole World Race. Though it saddens me to go, I know that the Lord has something absolutely wonderful for me at home and I will continue serving him there. Thank you all so much for the love and support, but I would appreciate you all giving me some space about this decision. I will also need some space for the first week, after my return. I am super blessed that God has used me in this season of my life, although it is important to remember that He didn’t actually need me, He chose me. Whether that be for something as small as sharing a smile with someone on the street in Bangkok, Thailand, or something like teaching the fruit of the spirit to students at a Buddhist school in Battambang, Cambodia, or maybe even sanding down wooden boxes in Valley of Angels, Honduras. I may never know. All I know is that He has used me as the hands and feet of Himself. And for that, I am blessed. If you would like to continue supporting a world racer, here are the blogs of my teammates:

I love you all. I pray for peace and acceptance over this decision.

Respectfully,
