Boot camp meets summer camp meets the spiritual version of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. It’s Day 5 of 10. Let me just share a journal entry from this morning. “God. I’m drained. I’m here. There was more coming before we all joined together for prayer, so it ended up being more realistic than I intended.

Honestly, I was more nervous about coming to training camp than leaving the country in two weeks. Since arriving Saturday night, there has been an incredible peace over the whole experience. It’s amazing to be surrounded by over 100 people who have responded to the “whisper that God has more for us and dropped normal, comfortable life in the States for a year of chasing God’s dream. We have been challenged, confronted, tested, kicked out of camp for a night in the woods. We have hiked while tied up, experienced more passionate worship than I have ever seen in a group, eaten bizarre foods and not complained…a whole lot. There’s no way to explain everything that God has placed in our path. But this much is true: God has already started working in amazing ways and I’m absolutely at a loss to even imagine what is in store for the next year.
