Our team noticed a huge need for the 28 kids we are living with and serving this month in Lesotho, Africa.
Bibles.
Over the last couple of weeks, it has been clear to us that they desire to read and learn more about the bible. Whenever we pull out our bibles around the kids, they take them from us and start flipping through the pages reading various verses.
Currently, only the oldest girl who is 15 years old owns a bible. When my teammate recently found out that the reason why she has a bible is because a previous World Racer gifted it to her, it sparked the idea to give every kid here his or her own personal bible.
We talked about this idea as a team and immediately put it into action. We created a campaign for our Bible project explaining the importance and lasting impact it will have on these children’s’ lives and those around them as well as to raise the necessary funds to make it happen.

Because my team is only here for another week, we ONLY have 6 DAYS to raise all of the money. As explained in the link above, every penny will go towards the purchase of bibles. If we happen to exceed the amount we ask for, we will purchase extra bibles for the staff, house moms and/or future kids who will live here.
I still remember receiving my first bible with my name and a note inscribed in the inside and how special and important it was for me. I can only imagine how it will make these kids, who don’t have much, feel and the look on their face when we hand them their own bible with their name and a note inscribed on the inside.
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us financially to make our Bible project possible? With your help we can raise $500 in 6 days!
I thank you in advance for your prayers and your financial support. May God bless you richly!
