Hey Fam!
I know I’ve been terribly quiet about my journey with the World Race. It’s definitely been a tough and hard season but it’s okay because the Lord gives peace and comfort!
I have asked to move my World Race journey to a later date. I will now be leaving in August of 2017 instead of January 2017. I am very excited about the new route because it actually has Laos and Thailand in it among other countries that I will post about later but it’s all still very exciting. I need to learn my new countries and squamates but it’s all good. I’m sure it’s all in God’s timing. Right now, it’s actually hard seeing my original team preparing to leave for training camp right now! I’m praying for January 2017 route. I have met some really amazing people! Sad that I won’t get to do life with them on the same route but excited that God is still calling us to do the World Race.
Oh the very adult things I didn’t consider when I was preparing to leave in January! To make it simple, I really just need to focus on my last semester at SHSU. I’m almost there! I will also be taking the time to focus on preparing to take my TeXes Exams (Teacher Certifications) before I leave. I want to make good choices and I want to be wise about the things that I choose. So taking one thing at a time it is!
Right now as I push through to December 10th (graduation day) I ask that you would just continue to pray for me! I’m still preparing to go on the World Race just not as soon as I thought I will. I know the extra 6 months will be great time for me to prepare better. This also will make it an official full year of preparing for this 11 month mission trip!
