So this weekend (and quite a bit before that) I’ve been working on support letters.
For those of you that don’t know, writing can sometimes be a daunting task for me. I try not to think about it too much or I end up changing everything or giving up all together. Support letters are a whole different ball game. Is it clear? understandable? friendly? answer all of their questions? is it too long? too dreary? is it eye-catching? is there too many colors?
I decided to break it down and this is what I came up with.
Support. Letters.
Support – bear all or part of the weight of; hold up / give assistance to; enable to function or act.
Letter – a written, typed, or printed (or all of the above?) communication, especially one sent in an envelope by mail or by messenger.
As much as I would love to send you all a support letter by messenger, I don’t think that service really exists much anymore. Especially to go the distance some of these will have to go.
So basically I’ve created a piece of typed and printed communication to invite you guys to help enable me to accomplish this mission God has put in my heart. I hope I conveyed my heart in them, and answered any of your questions. If I didn’t though and you have questions or want to talk to me about the World Race, I would love to meet up with you!
If you would like to make sure you receive one of these special letters, just let me know! (through this blog or social media, I don’t mind either) I would love to send you one of these bright and colorful works of art!
