I apologize for being MIA for the past little bit. I will explain more, but first, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me so far in prayer, in encouragement, and most importantly those who have given of their finances to help fund this dream of mine. So, a lot has been going on in my life. I changed jobs, took an extra college class, both of my roommates moved out and got married, and I got a new roommate. I’m also planning to do a presentation at my church in Tulsa. One thing is that I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. I’m so content in what is going on in life, yet the stirring for the World Race comes up in a moment’s notice. All this change is preparing me for all the changes that will come on the World Race.
For as long as I can remember, change has never been something that I enjoyed. I just wanted everything to stay the same. However, I see God’s hand growing me in this season of change and preparing me for the World Race and my future. I’ve been in a smaller Christian community where I’ve had to learn how to work closely with others and even bring up change and address things that could’ve potentially caused conflict.
The place where I now work has been such a blessing (quite literally, ask me if you’re curious). I get to work at a place that helps provide medicine to missionaries and nonprofits around the globe. The people I work with and the customers I help are wonderful. My passion for people and missions is something I get to use everyday.
My new roommate is amazing! To many it may come as a surprise that I only met Brittany, my current roommate, twice before she moved in a little over a month ago. I truly believe this was a God thing. We’ve become friends in the short time we’ve lived together and we both are amazed how well we fit together. I just remember praying to God about my living situation, and it is so cool to see that manifest with Brittany moving in!
