Hey! I’m so sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve had a post on my heart, but the right words haven’t come about in how to share it. Instead, I wanted to update you guys on my life and how things are going with the World Race. First, one of the countries on my route got switched. Instead of Greece, I’ll be going to Albania. I’m pretty excited about this change as Albania was the original country on my route when I applied.
Also, as of today, I am over 25% funded and less than $300 away from my first deadline!! Praise God, He is showing himself faithful! I started the challenge #100daysto100percent. I’m believing God to be fully funded in 100 days which would end Oct 17, a day before training camp.
One of the ways I’m doing this is through Adopt a Box. The boxes are numbered from 1 to 160. To adopt one of the numbers, you simply donate that amount towards my trip. Once they’ve all been adopted, I’ll be fully funded! Right now, 16 squares are adopted. I turn 22 in a week, so I would like to put out a challenge to have 22 squares adopted by my birthday! (The x’s are adopted squares)

And finally, this past weekend I went to Washington DC for Together 2016. This was an event to unite Christians to stand for Jesus in our nation. It was a really neat event with worship, prayer, and speakers. They ended it early because it was so hot that people were getting heat stroke. Later that evening, it rained. While I was there, I got to meet some people that will be going with me on the World Race as well as Julia Robertson, a WR alumni. I tried video blogging (vlogging) the trip to practice and see if I would want to video blog the World Race. Check it out:
