My "U Squad" teammates decided to make a survey to post so we can all get to know each other better outside of the ordinary questions… So here U go!
Forewarning, I talk a lot and have a hard time coming up with just one simple answer, so enjoy 🙂
What is your favorite season and why? Summer- I absolutely love hot weather. Beach, tank tops, melting ice cream, flip flops, warm nights for star gazing.
Where is the coolest place you’ve ever been? I’d have to say it’s a tie between Israel, because of all of its rich biblical history. And the Himalayas in Nepal, breathtaking.
What is your favorite iPhone (or subpar alternative) app? My smart phone is so dumb its apps are almost useless. But when I can, instagram.
What was your favorite food when you were a child? Chicken nuggets
What’s your favorite food now? Spaghetti
What is your biggest pet peeve? Flaky people, hands down. But also complainers. And, when I’m conversing with a group and everyone talks over each other and doesn’t listen and take turns. Seriously.
Do you have any strange habits/quirks? I have these random and constant hiccups. I’ve had them for about 8 years. Some people say it sounds like a dog barking? I don’t know.
I also stretch A LOT. At any moment during the day I’ll just stop and lunge, or stretch my arms or back.
And I’m kind of a neat/organizing freak. I color code, alphabetize, and categorize almost everything.
Oh, and I’m the queen of stickie notes/to-do lists/reminders. At any moment I have at least 10 sort of lists, scraps on paper, notes on the back on my hand, stickies, iCal and cell phone reminders. Whew. I’m so Type A.
If 10 of your friends were asked to describe you in one word, what would be the most common response? Oh gosh…. Dependable? Prayer warrior? Generous? Crap that wasn’t one word.
What is one of your favorite quotes? "What I do is not who I am”.
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Indoor = cleaning haha. Outdoor = running
What is your favorite fast food restaurant? Ummmm I don’t really eat fast food 1) I’m a vegetarian 2) I don’t like it. But if I had to choose I’d either go with Wendy’s or Chick-fil-a for their waffle fries 🙂
What is your favorite form of exercise? Running!
What is your favorite sound? Rain storm as I fall asleep : )
What is your favorite smell? Clean laundry. I smother my face in a pile of clean clothes out of the dryer! Oh and guys cologne.
If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? Run around naked.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Growing up I ALWAYS wanted to change my name to Jasmine. I tried to change it in 2nd grade by writing it on all my papers but that didn’t go over so well. Now, I’m just trying to change my name so I go by Alli (I was also so jealous of people with nicknames because I’ve NEVER had one! Now is my time…).
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why? Corrie ten Boom, hands down. She was a beautiful, strong, and faithful servant of the Lord who never gave up faith and lived through one of the most horrific experiences in history.
If you had a movie made of your life, what celebrity would you want to play you? Cameron Diaz
What do you want to be when you grow up? Whew, this question confirms that I’m still not grown up. Okay, I want to be an astronaut, actress, AND Sign Language interpreter…. All at once.
What do you like to do in your free time? Run, relax, clean, sun bathe.
If you had to eat the same thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? I always said if I could eat 2 foods the rest of my life they would be spaghetti and Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies haha. But if I could just choose one, spaghetti. Too many girl scout cookies make me sick.

What is your favorite childhood memory? Playing barbies with my friends
What’s the thing you’re most excited about regarding the WR?
Seeing and experiencing people and cultures that the Lord created and loves and trying to love and identify with them.
What’s the thing you’re most scared of regarding the WR? Having the Lord conform me more into His image in spite of my selfish and prideful heart and having it hurt… until I submit.
What is your favorite movie/show/book? Movie- The Little Mermaid. Show- The Bachelore. Book- Blue Like Jazz
If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be? Gazelle
What is your favorite sport to play/watch? I’m awful at sports and am not much of a fan of anything. But play- soccer. Watch- football (only if it’s the Superbowl so I can pretend like I really know and care about what’s going on)
First celebrity crush? Current celebrity crush? Zach Hanson from Hanson (still a crush… too bad he’s married) Current- Zach Efron (yup), but also Sean Lowe (most recent Bachelore) and Tim Tebow because they both love Jesus!!!!! (Which is more attractive to me)
