This is a follow up post to my initial “Dear Santa…”
One month ago today, I posted specifying my physical needs for my 11-month travels. And let me just say that within less than a week, ALL of my needs were accounted, paid for, and delivered!!!!! That’s right- backpack, tent, sleeping bag/pad/liner, towel and more! I was so humbled by my friends, family, and some even strangers, generosity that it has forever changed me and moved me to action and encouragement to be a more generous person.
And not just my physical World Race needs have been met generously, but can I also just give a huge shout out to my Aunt and friends who have opened up their beautiful homes to me this summer so I can live, sleep, and sometimes even eat, somewhere for free?! That lifts a huge burden on my part so I can continue to work as much as I can and save money.
I used to be jealous and think selfishly when I saw Christians with “nice homes” or “nice things”. But (again), seeing how these people give back to others by what God has graciously given them has humbled me.
So thanks to all my friends and family for giving and blessing me with that God has given you. You are a true servant. I love you all!! <3 <3
