I LOVE You Jesus!
I woke up this morning with this overwhelming love for the Lord swelling in my heart. I feel Him beside me like never before. Walking with me every step.
Who am I that I have this opportunity – to see so much of God's breathtaking creation throughout the world? To meet so many of the beautiful people that He personally handcrafted? I am God's daughter, whom He has called. That's who I am.
And it's not just an opportunity. It's a responsibility, but one of joy – not burden. I have the chance to share the love of Jesus with every person I come in contact with throughout this entire 11 months. I'm sad to say that I have wasted many of those chances, but I never want to do it again in the remaining 4 months I have on this journey that God has blessed me with – or when I return home – or wherever I go for the rest of my life.
"We're gonna take back all the enemy has stolen." "We're gonna plunder the pits of hell." I love those lines from the Will Reagan song "Take Back". They get me really pumped up for what God wants His children to do throughout the world. They're giving me a renewed energy and sense of purpose when I wake up each morning – to take back ground from Satan.
I have seen firsthand the work of the enemy all over Europe, Africa, and Asia, and of course America as well, and I HATE it. Sickness. Death. Empty idol worship. Hopelessness. Demon possession. Brokenness. Poverty. It's not of God. It's the work of Satan, who wreaks havoc on the earth.
"And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down – that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
'Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.'" –Revelation 12:7-12
I have looked into countless faces over the past 7 months. And within every one is a soul that God designed, that He loves and desires for Himself. God sent me out for them. He has sent all of us out for them.
Our struggle against Satan is constant on this earth, but Jesus has already won the victory. It's only a matter of time until He returns and Satan is cast out once and for all. But I want Satan to be shaking in his boots until that time comes, because of the boldness of God's children in proclaiming the name of Jesus throughout the world. No more apathy. No more sitting back. The Lord has sent us out with His authority. Time is short. The situation is urgent. Precious souls are at stake.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." –Ephesians 6:10-12
God – let me not waste a single minute of this race – of the World Race and of my entire life. I love your people. You've given me a heart for the nations – all of them, and I thank you so much for that.
We're taking back all the enemy has stolen. We're plundering the pits of hell.
