Holy moly. This month is over already. We are heading into month 5! Crazy. After hugging every single member of the Dub and a 20 hour bus ride through Macedonia and Bulgaria, I’ll be in Oradea, Romania, snuggling babies and painting rooms. Look it up, it’s so beautiful! Anyway, here are my top 11 moments from Albania!
11. Eating nutella straight from the jar. I know this is not really classified as a “moment”, but it pretty much describes my whole month…
10. Watching the Bourne films all snuggled onto three beds with the rest of my teammates. Still haven’t seen the third, so don’t give it away!
9. Having one-on-one dates with my teammates (even though we are ridiculously bad at keeping the schedule we set up).
8. Meeting and getting to know Lona and Donika. You can read more about them
here.
7. An impromptu dance party with the little old ladies who work in the cafeteria.
6. Dumpster diving in Italy (that’s how we shop on the World Race, people.) and Jesus providing a sweet pair of jeans and another pair of pants for me because He knew I couldn’t afford to buy myself any. Hooraaay!
5. Our trip to Italy…obviously. All we did was eat. It was a fabulous weekend. I’ll have to blog about it sometime. Sorry that I haven’t yet….
4. The two insanely awesome worship nights – that were had in an abandoned bar, P.S. The Spirit was just so thick, and soooo gooooood
3. Telling my testimony at the weekly meeting that Campus Crusade for Christ holds every Thursday, and a girl being so moved by it that she wanted to set up a coffee date to talk more about my story.
2. Coffee date mentioned above. So many powerful things came out of this evening, as well as a lot of laughs.
1. Conquering my fear of heights by jumping off a cliff into the Adriatic Sea. It was so clear and beautiful and I had everyone I love there with me to celebrate!
I am $4,716.38 away from my January 1st deadline. I need to be fully funded by this date, or I will not be able to continue with the race. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me in this journey by clicking the “Support My Ministry” tab to the left.
