When I first heard about the World Race I was completely fascinated and baffled all at once. Fascinated at the opportunity to make a God-size impact on the world, the whole world!, and baffled to think that I could raise $15,000 in support. 
I had never been on a mission trip before and was unfamiliar with support raising, but it sounded absolutely daunting. I struggled for a couple of weeks to commit to the Race because I was absolutely convinced that there was no way I could raise that kind of money.
I sit here on December 20, 2007 absolutely in awe of God; completely in awe of my friends, family, strangers, and new friends that have contributed in so many ways to make this journey a reality for me. I am 100% supported! Praise you Jesus!
I am truly humbled by each and every single one of you. Thank you for giving out of the depth of your hearts with joy and faith. I could write pages about the stories I have heard about the faithfulness of our God in financial situations, but I will wait until we are all sitting around the Throne in Heaven and share them all then. Believe me when I say that people have given from places of trust and I am humbled by their faith and obedience.
Thank you for every cent, every prayer offered up, every cheery email sent, every package mailed, every time you have lifted my name before the Father. He sees them all and smiles at the way in which ALL of you have loved a sister.
I have truly seen the face of our Father and I am grateful beyond words. I know His faithfulness first hand and know that His promise is true and a good measure will be poured into each of your laps.
