Fridays are great mostly because I sit at my desk on Friday afternoon and ponder all the weird things floating thru my brain – and then something compels me to type them in this blog for all the world to read.
I am under no illusion that these ramblings are life changing for anyone, but i sure do love getting your comments, so maybe it is selfish that I write here. maybe. 🙂
About 30 minutes ago I switched to Google Chrome. If you are my mom, or her sisters you will have NO idea what that means, but if you are someone different then it may make sense. I will keep you posted on my thoughts about it. So far so good, because I found a background display titled KATE SPADE and that makes it really fancy.
I only lost my fancy purple water bottle twice this week. And then promptly found in twice this week! I am still on my first bottle for the day, but that is a huge improvement over last month so I will take it!
I am listening to a Pandora station built around my new favorite band that Kelly listens to, The Civil Wars. They are not yet my favorite band, but they are my favorite band that Kelly listens to. Does that make sense to anyone but me? Either way, they are great! But the pandora station is a bit depressing – perfect for a rainy day.
We spent an entire evening reading www.whenparentstext.com this week. If you need cheap entertainment I highly recommend it! Some of the funniest stuff I have ever read – was especially funny when I texted the site to my mom and she couldn’t figure out how to respond to the text. Hilarious.
Yesterday I stood on my bed to make the declarations – just to mix it up a bit. I am still a fan of adults standing on furniture and shouting promises. There is just something right about that. And slightly strange, I know.
I am reading my Bible through this year and have a fancy plan on my phone that notifies me when it is time, what I should read, etc…I really don’t know how cave men ever remembered without their iphones to remind them! I am in Genesis and am seriously getting rocked by the stories. The Lord has really been speaking to me through Jacob and Esau-such good stuff! Praying this every day too:
“O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still!” Psalm 83:1
