Yesterday is still too raw to fully process and even understand the shifts in my heart, but I do know that we found what we were looking for alive and well: JASON!!!
He has obviously not yet been treated by Operation Smile, but we have been in touch with them and are waiting to hear something back. He is absolutely thriving and doing well. He has gained a ton of weight and was smiling, engaged and completely happy to see some visitors. He, his mom, and 4 siblings all live in a room the size of my bathroom at home. We were able to bless them with some basic necessities and they blessed us with lots of smiles and tears.
Will you pray with me that Jason qualifies for surgery with Operation Smile, that we have favor in communicating with them, and that Jason has total and complete healing? We have a team here all month that will continue to follow up and check in with his family.
This is why i love and believe in the World Race. A baby found by teams 6 months ago will be loved on and cared for by another team this month. Thank you Lord for divine connections.
