I am on a water-drinking mission. So far, not so good. But I have hope that my skills are on the upswing! Thanks to the lovely
Sherina Joy Tatum I now have a very special purple water bottle from which to drink with a very fun pop top, hopefully that will help!
My obsession with poptarts smothered in peanut butter is back in full swing and I am eating those things like crazy! Poptart and a cup of coffee makes an excellent dinner for this girl! I know, i know, someday I WILL make healthy and delicious meals for my family; that day is not today.
My bathroom mirror is covered in declarations. I shout them at myself when I am drying my hair. You should try it sometime..my favorite is I AM LIVING IN THE LAND THAT WAS PROMISED TO ME! The Lord is really speaking to me lately about the Promised Land. What is it? What does it mean for me? Do I live every day believing this is my promised land? Such good questions to ponder while drying one’s hair.
My calendar is currently void of any international trips for a few months and that makes me hyperventilate a little bit. I miss the international terminal of the airport already. Wonder if they will let me hang out there just for fun? And to practice my spanglish…somehow I doubt that TSA won’t let me in, even if I do agree to a pat down or a body scan.
The empty travel schedule bodes well for my lovely friends and family that have been lacking in phone calls, emails and thank you notes. That is on the top of my priority list. That and sitting in a hammock I just hung on my porch. It is a beautiful hammock. One day when I own a fancy camera and can take beautiful pictures I will share my hammock with you. Learning to take beautiful photos is on my list of things to learn this year.
Jesus is teaching me all kinds of good stuff about trusting Him. Even when circumstances don’t make sense, He is good and trustworthy. Funny how easy that is to believe for everyone around me and sometimes hard to believe for myself….
That is all my ramblings for this afternoon…have a fabulous weekend!
