Never have I ever experienced a fall season this brilliant.  Georgia fall continues to astound me and make we wonder “can it get any better?” And every day it does.  Fall in Ohio and Kentucky is typically short-lived and if you blink you might miss it.  It is definitely a beautiful time of year, but most falls I remember were so fast that you had one nice weekend and then you were scraping the ice off the car and wearing gloves.

Fall in the south just goes on and on.  Every day has been gorgeous.  Perfect temperatures, sunny skies and the most brilliant leaves I have ever seen.  ever.  Most people that live here with me are sick of me talking about it, but the leaves are breath-taking.  I can’t get over their brilliance.

On my way to work I drive over two bridges that cross Lake Lanier.  The combined effects of brilliant trees, perfect sunny skies and not a cloud in sight, and the reflection off the lake is enough to make me drive right off the road gawking.
