I have a Keurig coffee maker. It was my splurge when I moved to GA and I can honestly say I love it. The only thing I don’t love is that a normal size travel mug does not fit under the spout. Which just makes no sense to me whatsoever…why should I have to use a regular mug, then dump it into a travel mug? My morning routine is already taxing enough, with the makeup, hair, showering, bed-making, etc…adding an additional step to the coffee routine is just not really option.
*pause* life was soooo much simpler when living in the bush. i remember the good ole days of having to use your computer’s built in camera once a week as a mirror. talk about scary, but yet freeing… *resume*
Anyways – I am forever on the lookout for short travel mugs. Just an FYI if you happen to see any.
It is quickly becoming time once again to be obsessed with chicken salad. It is chicken salad season! I am mildly, ahem, obsessed with Publix these days. I just love that place. Wandering the aisles, dreaming of being an excellent cook, pretending to know what Sherry is…ahhhh. I know that my Publix fascination has hit new highs (or lows…) when I am on a road trip with friends and excitedly shout “PUBLIX!!” every time we pass one on the interstate. (family – this is similar to Grandma’s excitement over church steeples)
I don’t love Publix chicken salad though. Not really at all. Just in case you were wondering.
My water drinking missions are going so well! I can safely say I consume at least 48 ounces a day..and that is a huge improvement over my usual 48 ounces a week plan i had at the beginning of the year. Just in case you were wondering.
I am reading through the Bible in a year and really loving Exodus. Moses and I have a lot in common. Burning bushes, plagues, parting Red Seas, you know, just the usual stuff. He and I will get on really well in heaven. Can’t wait to hear about the stuff in person.
Have a great weekend!
