This week I am in Hyderabad, India launching one of our January World Race squads.  Over the course of the next 5 days we have close to 200 new racers launching out into the Nations.  Caroline Crawford, Erin Winget and I are traveling to India and Thailand with 2 of the groups and Andi Wendel and Aaron Bruner are traveling with the others.  It is an exciting week!

India is a new country and new adventure for me.  Honestly, I had heard mixed reviews on India and wasn’t sure if I was excited or not!  People either love it or hate it.   I was hoping to fall in the former category and I think it is happening!  It is just so refreshing to be out in the World doing what I love.

The launch is going well and as always I am positive THIS is the best bunch of racers we have ever had.  Don’t tell them that I say that every time!  This time I really mean it.  🙂

We are eating crazy amounts of curry, sleeping in a mildew smelling hotel and traveling via little motorized “autos”.  (think motorcycle with a cart on the back pulling you along).  It has been an experience.  This afternoon a 10 minute drive for Caroline and I somehow turned into a sight-seeing mission including Subway, a $6, 90 minute auto ride and a lot of laughs.  It has been a long time since I have been that lost with absolutely NO idea where we were, how to get where we were going, or really how to communicate either of the above 2 items.  We made it back with plenty of video and pics to show for the adventure.  This is why I love the World Race!

Thanks for the prayers!  We are feeling them.  Maybe you should pray for my sense of direction–it could use a little help!
