Nalgenes are weird to me. I can’t figure out why people love them so much. They serve absolutely zero purpose to me. That could be because I can not seem to keep one for more than 30 seconds without losing it, but still. I think they smell gross, spill all over my shirt when I try to drink, and get lost all the time.
A whole bunch of my favorite people in the whole world are here with me this week and it has been glorious. Do you have people in your life that just seem like an extension of your body? You miss them like crazy when they are not around and then are so much more comfortable when they are around? Jane Kim is that girl to me. We are polar opposites in just about EVERY way possible, but somehow it works. We laid in bed laughing about all the places in the world (literally) that we have stayed and the random adventures we have had. Then there is the uncanny prophetic thing Jane has and the way to deliver words from the Lord that makes it seem like He is sitting there in your midst. Do you have someone like that in your life? Go find one if you don’t. Just don’t come after Jane–she is mine!
I am literally headed out the door to the woods again. Feel free to pray about my sweating. It is approx 95 (and i am NOT exaggerating) and i am already worried about the amount of sweat that is going to pour of my body in the next week. I am not sure the campground has enough water for all my showers. Oh dear–i need to remember to pack my shower shoes.
