When I think of Elizabeth I see pictures of God’s healing and redemption. Elizabeth has one of the tenderest hearts I have ever come across and has inspired me so much this year. Because we labeled her one of the “young ones” on the squad, she fought to have her voice heard amongst a bunch of know-it-all’s and we are so grateful she did.
The Lord moves in Elizabeth in a powerful way, and we have all been touched by her heart. He gifted her with an amazing heart of a servant and we have been blessed not only physically, but spiritually by her giftings. First and foremost, I have never met someone who can whip up dinner with a limited budget and limited ingredients like Elizabeth. We would be in the middle of nowhere and Elizabeth could produce a meal like we could never imagine. She was always the first one to cook and last one eat. It is safe to say it was a battle at times, but she faithfully served us all year.
The Lord gave me the opportunity to get to know Elizabeth on a deeper level in Thailand. I had the chance to spend a couple of days solely with her in Bangkok and I have been so impacted by the healing God did in her life. Elizabeth was battling the enemy on an emotional level and she was victorious. It was my joy to watch her open herself to God and to let the Lord work in her life. He has transformed her into a mighty woman who is absolutely overflowing with the gifts of the spirit.
Thank you, Elizabeth for modeling Galations 5:22-23 for me. I can’t wait to run into you somewhere on the mission field in the coming years—the Lord is going to use you in powerful ways.
Galatians 5:22-23 ” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
