Before coming on the race I made a personal goal to run in every country. Depending on the ministry it might have looked like running around a pool barefoot several times or running up and down a hill between ministry houses. This month, as in El Salvador, God blessed us with a gorgeous beach. Measuring a little over a mile in length, my teammate Leah and I have been getting up with the sun around 5:30am to go for a run.
In addition to running each month, Leah and I have both been convicted by the Lord to ask him for physical healing in our lives. Both of us suffer from dietary restrictions and vision problems. Time and time again throughout the Bible we read testimonies of God’s faithfulness of how he healed his people. Even the disciples were given authority to heal others. So we’re both praying in great faith for God to heal our bodies of all ailments.
About a week and a half ago Leah and I had an adventurous encounter with God during our morning run that touches both on our personal running goals and prayer for healing. I would be honored if you would take the time to read this from her perspective.
Additionally, I would also like to ask if you would consider supporting Leah through prayer and financial support. I am fully funded but Leah is still needing $4200 before the 1st of July to remain on the race. Would you consider donating to her and funding her race? If so, please follow this link: Support Leah
