Fall weather is here and I couldn’t be more excited. Bring on the chai and pumpkin spice everything. Bring on the scarves and wool socks. Bring on the warmth of the indoors and the joy of the holidays. Of course, all of this I see in light of a wonderfully warm summer with great adventures with family and friends. Thank you God for every passing season.

Y’all guess what?!? I leave for training camp in TWENTY THREE DAYS.

I am getting on a plane and flying by myself (a big ‘adult moment’ for me) to Georgia. I land in ATL at midnight where I will find a cozy corner in the airport to curl up in for the night until everyone arrives that afternoon.

What is this camp all about?!? Well, all I know is that it’s an intense nine day training for the world race. The time will be spent better preparing us for the year ahead. A time to challenge us physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Plus, I finally get to meet my squad mates who I will be traversing the globe with come January!

I am finding it hard to explain how I am feeling right now,

so here is a little video about camp that might help capture some of how I feel…

Thank you for loving me and supporting me so well.
