Hey there friends! Welcome to my blog.

My name is Allison Baker and I am 26 years young.

I grew up in Beaverton, OR with my wonderful family. I am the oldest and I was the one who always got picked on by my younger brother and sister. Go figure.

I currently live in Corvallis, OR (Go Beavers!) with an incredibly awesome church family. Even though I am not a college student anymore, I still try to keep up with their shenanigans.

For two years I have been working as a CNA at an Alzheimers and Dementia care house. Yes, it’s challenging and sometimes dirty but the reward is great.

Other random bits about me:

It’s my dream to see an Alaskan moose in person. Moose are my favorite animal.

I am far too attached to my 1985 Jeep Cherokee (named Moose).

I ate Honey-Nut Cheerios for breakfast almost everyday for two years.

I really enjoy ice cream. Especially Tillamook’s Udderly Chocolate.

I sing. Not always well but I sing.

I could live in a t-shirt and jeans or shorts for the rest of my life.

I have been blessed to grow up in Oregon, the most beautiful state. If you haven’t ever been here, you need to come.

Thunderstorms at night scare me. They are awesome but terrifying.

I only drink decaf coffee because caffeine makes me feel fuzzy and tired.

I love the smell of campfires and pine trees.

I told God this year that I was just plain tired of being comfortable…and then He plopped this opportunity in my lap. Go figure.

I would love to talk to you. God’s faithfulness has brought me here and I would love to share about it.
