To those of you taking the time to read this:
For as long as I can remember I have had such a desire to leave the comfort of this country and go on missions, yet I have never been outside of the United States. I truly believe that the Lord wouldn’t have given me this desire if He didn’t have a purpose for it. I didn’t know where life after college would take me but I knew it would be outside of America and I knew the Lord would be faithful in showing me the rest. That is something that excited me and that is when He revealed His plan for my future.
I am ready to quite literally enter into the world and embark on the new journey ahead as the Lord has blessed me with an opportunity to go on the World Race! I will be leaving in September on the first ever All-Asian Route! The World Race is a Christian organization that sends young adults to work, serve, witness, heal, learn, and grown in Christ! Specifically we will be split up into teams and will be traveling to eleven different Asian countries over eleven months! I will be going to: India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, China, Mongolia, Philippines. I am going to abandon my worldly possessions and luxuries to live with, serve and give hope, through Christ, to those that have very little. Yet I am confident that I will learn more from them than I could imagine possible.
My heart for Asia developed out of my passion for freedom for women and children enslaved in sex trafficking. Sex trafficking is so rampant all over the world but Asian countries are saturated with the evil, especially Thailand, India, Nepal, and Cambodia. I don’t think it is a coincidence that the first year I am eligible for the World Race is also the first year the All-Asian route is available. I want to be the hands and feet of Christ in these areas and for those of you that would love to make a change like this.
Here is where you come in: First off, I cannot do this without your prayers. I write to ask for your prayers and encouragement as prayer is so powerful and next year will be challenging. Secondly, I ask for your help through financial support. If God is tugging at your heart after reading this letter, please do not hesitate to support me today. There are financial deadlines I have to meet in order to go and continue on the race. I humbly ask you to consider giving either a monthly donation or a one-time donation (all donations are tax deductible). If you choose to give monthly you can select the start and end date of those gifts on my website, or if you choose a one-time gift, for example $50, $200, $500 or more, you can specify that as well. Keep in mind it is not the amount that you give that matters, every donation makes a difference.

The experience and lessons I will learn from this trip will be immeasurable, so rest assured that, yes, you will be supporting a life changing experience for me but more importantly for the many that God will allow me to serve over the next year.
