Hi All!

Words cannot even begin to describe the changes I have had in my life these past few months. Somehow God brought me here to travel the world for missions. Some of you may know we from that little girl who was six years old sitting in the church congregation with straight across bangs, bucked teeth, and big bows clipped in my hair. Others may know me from meeting me at work, school, or through mutual friends.

For those who don’t know me very well my name is Allison Anderson and I am from DeKalb, IL. I have loving parents Amy and Jeff. I also have three younger brothers Jared, Brandon, and Bradley. My brothers and I are so very close knit and starting to think about leaving them for an entire year makes my heart hurt. I attend North Central College and will be graduating at the end of March! It has been a long and uneasy college career because of the uncertainty of what I wanted to do after graduation but I can honestly say that it was worth it. I will be graduating with a psychology degree and am looking to go to Occupational Therapy School after my trip. I have also worked for my school and at Build a Bear Workshop. I have worked for Build a Bear for three years and have developed friendships with my coworkers and customers that will last a lifetime. I love to do adventurous things, I am easy going, I like to be active. I absolutely LOVE to craft. Hopefully blogging will come to be one of those many hobbies of mine.

I am new to blogging but I love to write and cannot wait to have people follow and comment on my blog as I begin this awesome journey. The thing to keep in mind, although I am the one writing, traveling, asking for money, etc. It is not me but this is all for God’s glory. Please keep in mind  that he is using me to change parts of the world as well as the people supporting me, reading my blog. He is wanting to touch people that I know by using my adventures. I cannot wait to share what he is doing in my life in order to change or encourage what he is doing in yours!

God Bless,

Allison
