Hello all!
Writing to you from Cambodia! Many of you probably contributed to me being here, for that, I am forever thankful!
You may or may not know, but I am currently in month 7 of an 11 month mission trip called the World Race. It has been an amazingly wild ride! I spent a good portion of the last year fundraising for this trip, and I’m here to fundraise some more, but this time it is for my momma! My mom, Marty Robie, has the super cool opportunity to join me on the mission field in Thailand in March! This is for a week called PVT (Parent Vision Trip). This is not a vacation for either of us, my mom will join me in ministry work and live life as a racer!
My mom has made a HUGE step in faithfulness by signing up for this trip. She has never traveled this far, especially not on her own. But we both felt very led by the Lord that she needed to come to Thailand.
With that, we are asking for your help! Of course, my mom would love to cover the cost of the trip on her own, however, that is not an option at this time. The total cost for my mom to come to Thailand is $1,750. We are hoping to raise $1,000 to help offset the costs! Again, this is not a vacation for my mom, but an opportunity for her to serve as a short-term missionary with me in Thailand. It will be hard work and I’m sure a little scary for her, but I am so thankful she has agreed to come!
