AWESOME. I’m so thankful to have you on my team of warriors and supporters! I can’t even begin to explain how far this journey has taken me already – and I still have 7 months until launch! Because I want to keep you well-informed throughout this journey, I made some fun charts and diagrams to show you exactly where your donations are headed:

This is a chart showing where each cent of my grand total to raise – $16,561 – will go:
Training Camp– $331 – (Covers my training before departure. This is a 10-day training camp in Gainesville, GA, from June 8-18, 2016.)
Field Support– $662 – (Assisting to get us supplies, local contacts, etc.)
WR Development Program– $1,987 (Improvements and developments)
Administration Fees– $2,815 – (Processing fees and paying the staff who organizes travel, meals, missions, etc.)
World Racer– $10,765 (this is used for me while on the field!)
so, to continue the breakdown, this is where that 65% of the total goes:
Travel between continents (USA, Europe, Africa, Asia) – $4,844
Food – $1,399
Lodging – $2,045
Transportation – $1,184
Long-distance travel, misc supplies – $1,292
(None of this includes my daily personal expenses or the remaining gear/equipment I need.)
Because I love details and weather, I thought I’d also share with you the daily average temperatures per country each month we’ll be there (month 1 being August, month 11 being June) —
Noting the above weather challenges and knowing that I’ve never endured a “rainy season” here in East Tennessee (other than that one week last month), I want to be the most prepared I can be so that me and my gear stay safe and in-tact. THEREFORE —
