Have you ever been given a project to do, and have felt so excited that you feel like it's not reality?  Welcome to my month in Cambodia…

This month of ministry we are working with an organization called Transitions Global.  They are an after care program for girls between the ages of 14-18 that have been human trafficked.  The program itself blows my mind.  They challenge and empower the girls to be whoever they want to be or do.  ie. teachers, doctors, business , entrepreneurs, whatever!

One of our projects this month is to design and create an outreach volunteer program for the girls at Transitions Global.  To build a way for the girls to get out in the community, serve others, and get their minds going on dreams of the future.

All in all, it's kind of a big deal.

Part of going on this race is to help me figure out what my giftings are.  When I heard that this is the project the organization wanted us to tackle, I could not stop giggling and smiling.

I love providing ways for others to serve and to experience the joy and satisfaction it brings to serve an other.

I am on point for this project.  To be honest, it makes me nervous, but is challenging me in my leadership skills, organization, and spiritual growth like ever before.  This is a challenge, and one that WE WILL SUCCEED IN, in Jesus name.  Amen? Amen.

I am stoked about this opportunity and literally have come alive during the process. Last night I wrote this in my journal after visiting a possible partnering organization:

"…I've loved asking questions and organizing this project.  I feel alive.  Like it was made for me.  I'm blown away by God right now with His picking of this project.  I feel so honored and blessed.  I probably could do something like this after the race. crazy.  Makes me cry just to think about it. (in a good way)…"

I am still uncertain about my future, and my giftings, but I am learning more daily about who I am in Jesus and what gifts He has given me. I love being able to see the BIGGER picture in this project.  I love visualizing six months or a year from now when these girls are OUT THERE serving, loving others, and personally feeling so alive.

The hands that will be serving!

My team is just so gifted and passionate about this project.  We are rockin it with prayer and declarations.  It is challenging our faith daily, and pushing us to TRUST in Him and Him only for provision and well, everything.
God is answering, in BIG ways. He is Giving us
Divine encounters with pastors and leaders in organizations at coffee shops, clear communication with organizations, a translator, and just amazing conversation after conversation with those around us.  Again, God is responding.  He is so good!

We only have two weeks left here in Cambodia.  Crazy? Yes.  I am excited to leave this project in motion, and to stay in contact with the organization as the program grows.  Again, God is good.

   Side Note:

I know that you'd love to hear stories about the girls and their histories along with pictures, but due to confidentiality and to respect them, I cannot.  I will update you on our progress in whatever ways I can.
