Hello my sweet girl.

Happy Valentine’s Day. I’m SO thankful for this time with you. These past 4 years have been truly amazing, to think about how far you’ve come! And to think, it’s only JUST THE BEGINNING! I have so many beautiful things to show you on this journey. But let’s take some time to reflect

Four years ago, you got that tattoo on your hand. A sign that many may see, but that was truly special to you and me. It was the moment you fully surrendered your heart to me and put your faith and hope in me to provide you with your husband. I think of this moment fondly. You were nervous and a little scared to make such a “big” decision that was so permanent. But it showed me that you understand the importance and significance of a marriage covenant. You made it in that moment first to me, but ultimately in your heart to your (future) husband. What a beautiful and honoring symbol of your love and commitment.

Since that time, I have been refining, sanctifying, redeeming this part of your life and heart, ever working to lead you towards this union.

I’m still at work. I will not let you down.

Do you not perceive it? Can you see and feel the changes in your own heart? You’ve grown stronger in your identity, walked through tremendous healing, broken strongholds and soul ties, become more resolute in your convictions, refined in your desires, and you’ve sought wisdom and guidance at every turn. You’ve allowed yourself to be vulnerable and open up to others. You’ve been filled with faith and trust and you’ve walked in humility, peace, grace, integrity, and patience.

I love you so much, Alissa, my noble and kind one. I’m so proud of you and your obedience and faith. I will honor all of it and I can’t wait to pour out my blessings upon you.

Happy Valentine’s Day, my love.
