I just wanted to let you know what I am up to these days. I have accepted a position at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and will begin August 29th. I have also decided to head back to El Salvador, for a 12 day trip before beginning work. In El Salvador I will be working with my contacts from the World Race. As of now, I will be doing various things from working with the youth at the church to building houses with a group of missionaries there. I am so excited to reconnect with such beautiful people and have a chance to work in the villages once again. (one of my favorite things on the Race).
I am collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, vitamins, medicines, and really anything else you can think of to bring into the villages.(think smaller items due to packing) After spending time in these villages I know these things are so essential but people just do not have them, so if you would like to help I am asking for things by August 8th. I will be leaving August 11th so before then at the latest. If you would like to donate financially I will be buying things while down there to save on luggage space.(also things tend to be cheaper).
