Words escape me as I sit in the quite library at the Intercultural School in the beautiful country of Indonesia. Why has God brought me to this place at this point in time what am I meant to do here? Ideally working at a school would not be first on my list. Public speaking has never been a forte of mine and I feel like I don’t have a story to share. Although my testmoney is full of many bumps in the road and much pain. God has proven himself faithful throughout the struggle.

As for the first month on the race…I have gained a new family and have gotten to know my teammates through spending countless hours together. Ministry has looked different throughout the first week we have been at the school. From manual labor to teaching in the classrooms we have been able to serve the school in many ways. The people of Indonesia, the school staff, and all others that we have met along the way have been a great blessing to us. They have provided countless meals, rides throughout the city, advice, and welcoming smiles. I am truly greatful to all those I have met along the way and the work they are doing in this country.

The Lord’s faithfulness goes before us as we wrap up the first week of minstry and walk into his plan for the second.
