Our ministry until February 5th will be in Chaiyaphum, Thailand.  Tomorrow at 4:30pm we leave on a 24 bus ride to northeastern Thailand where we will be in the bush of Thailand!  We are the pioneer team for the World Race…our experiences will shape this small village and they will be a deciding factor in whether the World Race sends other teams there in the future.  It is so awesome to think that we are laying the foundation for possibly hundreds of other people to come through this village and love on these people!

I don’t know exactly what our ministry is yet – we won’t know until we meet face to face and hear the pastor’s needs, but I can tell you the possibilities:

–Sports Ministry: Aerobics programs, soccer, tagraw (an amazing Thai game – Youtube it!!), basketball
–English Camps: Informal, conversational, using games and testimonies, songs and dramas
–Church on the weekend with typical church ministry
–Evangelistic concerts by performing songs
–Running seminars with the youth

Because we will be in a remote part of Thailand, I am unsure of the internet connection and will update our progress as soon as possible.

I love Thailand though!  Our time at SHE ministry has been so comfortable…good food, showers, comfortable sleeping quarters…I am really sad to leave this place!  I know God has something amazing in store for my team though.  And if our location looks half as beautiful as this (a view from the 5 mile loop we hiked this morning):

…we will all be happy campers!  Literally!
