After an explosively amazing debrief and team change – whoa World Race
curve ball! – my new team Radiant Change and I headed into Nepal with
hands wide open and ready to grab on to a whole new ministry.  Here’s
my new team:

I had the best two days of my entire World Race the first two days we were in country.  Our contacts Rita and Reuben took us to a few temples for us to prayer walk and speak some life over the people who were there worshiping their idols.

Worshiping idols made of concrete and paint.  My God is a living God – the great I AM.

Having an issue here in Nepal with not purchasing everything in front of me.  The shops here are the best!

Hanging out with some local Buddhas.  There are lots of people in Nepal searching for something spiritual.

The next day they took us up the mountains to explore, sight-see and worship!  I am not exaggerating when I say it was MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE RACE.  The beauty is unexplainable.  God’s creation is painfully beautiful in Nepal.  Zipping around hair-pin turns up the side of the mountain among the clouds was exhilarating.  I am so grateful for the many pictures I took that day.

Making our way up the countryside.

Radiant Change up in the clouds.

In the clouds, taking a break at a resort we hiked to.  Honeymoon spot for sure!

Breathing in the crisp air.  Thanking God that he chose me for this race, this moment, this nation, this mountain…so many divine appointments.  Almost too much to process!

**NEVER LEAVING**

Next, we had lunch at a tasty bistro in a small village.  I had muesli with hot milk, french toast and my FIRST cup of black coffee in months!  I was in heaven.

Lastly, we made it to the very top and got out my guitar and started singing praises to the Most High.  We drew a bit of a crowd and were able to pray for their families.  I’m so blessed to be on a team of the most musically inclined people!  We have 2 guitars, a ukulele and all of us have wonderful voices.  It is the most enjoyable thing to sing with this group.

We also traveled to a few houses today and prayed for families that belong to the church here and needed prayer for healing and provision for their kids.  We head out Tuesday for 2 weeks away from our home base.  We’re going to a few villages and baptizing, building a school one week and evangelizing and encouraging village members.  I will most likely not have access to the internet until the end of the month – but when I do you can count on lots of pictures and a few blogs on all the goodness God blessed us with.

I just want to share a monument that God built in my faith through a personal talk with Michael and Kathy Hindes during debrief.  Mike is the director of the World Race and a man of great Kingdom authority.  He released an immense amount of love and freedom 2 weeks ago  – – and five months into the race I can say that I am so free to love those in my life more than ever before.  Life is so good right now.  God’s grace is just destroying every wall I’ve built in my life and I just can’t help but smile.

I am all smiles these days.
