Last week I was at training camp – it was a time to meet my 74 amazing teammates (“P Squad”) and prepare us for our upcoming trip. The first part of the week we focused on ourselves – what God can do in and through us when we are “free” and spend time listening to Him. The second part of the week we focused on teambuilding and they announced who our teams would be. The last part of the week focused on community and ministry in our teams. It was a time of healing, encouragement, and fun times! It is hard to describe everything that happened – if this is step 1, can’t wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!

Everyone on the squad are all amazing people and I would love to serve with any of them. However, my new family is going to be great. They are a fun group of people and we will work well together 🙂

Acts 20:24 – ‘However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.’

We are team “Reckless” because we are quiting our jobs and giving up our lives as we know them to pursue God and His people. Join us on our adventure! God is going to do great things in us and through us. Our first day out together God was already at work. Feel free to check out my teammates blogs to get to know who I will be serving with and when we are gone you can follow along with all of us as I’m sure we will share different stories!
