The time has come! The past month I have been busy wrapping things up. I have ended my life as I know it – quit my job, sold my car, packed my bags, and said my good-byes. Some of that easier said than done but everything is working out so I know God has his hand in it.  It is meant to be.
In that month, still saw God working through encounters I had with random strangers encouraging me in what I’m doing and “chance” meetings. It is hard to sum up what all has happened in the past month but I hope to update my blog more often now that the time has come.

Today I packed my life (for the next 11months) into 1 bag and a carry – on.

My journey began before today, but my trip has officially started (last night). I have left home and am in the Florida airport. It is about 3am and some of my squadmates and I are camped out ready to fly to Dominican Republic. (We will then drive to Haiti).

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me thus far – I really appreciate it!!

Please pray for safe travels for us as we will be flying out this morning. The team leaders have already flown out and the rest of the squad will fly out Monday morning. Pray for the people in Haiti that we will come into contact with.
