My name is Alison Scott, and I’m on the World Race! Obviously. It still doesn’t really seem like real life. I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison this past May (2014) (Go Badgers) and I studied Rehabilitation Psychology. I love me some Badgers, and have an obnoxious amount of Badger pride. If you ask me what I’m doing after the Race, I would tell you that’s a really great question. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Some things you should know about me:

  • My favorite candy is peach rings, in all their artificial flavor glory.
  • I love the color green, even though I own hardly any green clothing.
  • I think that maybe my favorite color is actually purple, since I wear a lot more of that.
  • My favorite season is fall. It’s by far the superior season, mostly because it means that I can wear flannel and scarves and cute boots everyday with no judgment.
  • I love soccer, and have been playing since preschool.
  • If I could only read one book for the rest of my life, excluding my Bible, I would choose To Kill a Mockingbird. I’ve already read it more times that I can count, and love it just as much every time.
  • My favorite foods are potatoes and rice, exclusively. They’re both so versatile and delicious!

I am so excited to be on the World Race, and I can’t even imagine how the Lord is going to use me, and how the Lord is going to teach me and break me and piece me back together. I’m trying not to have expectations, because I know the real experience will far surpass anything that I can imagine.

I’m also so glad that you’ve come along side me for this crazy adventure, and I can’t wait to share what the Lord is doing with you! Feel free to comment, send me messages, or anything! I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
