First of all, thank you so so much to each of you who has contributed to me for The World Race so far. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I am currently at $5,458! And I'm trusting God to continue providing like He has been.
I've been thinking a lot about prayer lately. Sadly, sometimes I think about praying more than I actually pray.
I've spent a lot of time in my "relationship with God" learning about Him instead of actually talking to Him. I'm still unlearning this bad habit of sitting and reading the Bible for hours without even praying for a minute. So much of what God wants for our lives is to just be in relationship with Him and get to know Him, and invite Him to know us.
Now, I am even praying that I will pray more, that I will desire to pray more, and that I will have dedication and consistency in prayer.
And, I'm asking you to pray for me too.
Please pray that I would…
seek God diligently and continuously every day.
desire to know Him more and more.
trust God to provide financially and for everything else I need.
see myself the way God sees me.
Please pray that God would…
open people's hearts to give generously.
prepare my heart and mind for what is to come.
use me in powerful ways to make His name known.
lead others to know Him more through my story.
