We made it safely to Ecuador!  I already love this place even though I have a gnarly sunburn on my face.  Apparently the sun is really bright on the ecuator…who knew?  Yes, I said on the ECUATOR!  We went to the center of the ecuator yesterday.  There are other places on the ecuator as well but Quito which is the capital of Ecuador is the center of the ecuator because it is the highest point on the ecuator.  Interesting, huh?  We rode on so many buses yesterday and one of the world racers even crowd surfed….on the bus.  That made for some good laughs between us and the locals.  We are the first squad on the world race to come to Ecuador.  HOW COOL IS THAT!  Did I mention that I got a nice, hot shower last night and I am sleeping in a bed with sheets and a pillow!  We are spoiled!  Tomorrow my team heads off to El Carmen which is on the coast, that will be our ministry site for the next month.  I have no idea what we will be doing there but will let you all know as soon as possible!  I feel so great and peaceful about being here.  I know God is going to move mountains in Ecuador!
I’m ready to see some mountains moved.
I’m so excited!!!
The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.”
Psalm 19:1-4
