Hey all, Sierra and I posted our first blog together! I hope you guys get some laughs out of it! No matter the answers we really do know one another. I hope you check it out! This is how I will be communicating with all my supporters on the field and I’ve never had a vlog, but here we go!
An update on my life, and what I’m doing and where the heck I’m at.
I arrived in Fairbanks early this morning and have been recovering from the longs flights and late nights. I’ll be up here for a few weeks fundraising before I return back to CO to work a little bit more. I’m also up here to visit my Dad and hopefully see my brother before he moves to Virginia to pursue his dreams in becoming a Marine Officer. Quick shout out to him because he is one of the only people I know who has had the same dream as he was a child and actually pursued it. He never gave up on it, and now it’s becoming a reality because he was resilient and kept the faith. He kept pushing, and kept asking, and God provided for him. I could not be more proud and I’ll be seeing him again in November when he graduates. Yay!!!
Coming back home is always a great feeling and there’s just something about it that makes you feel at peace. I love the saying “home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling” because this earth is not my home. My home lies in Christ, and I feel that home every time I’m surrounded by people who love me most and truly care about me. They teach me day in and day out what it is to be selfless and I couldn’t be more appreciative and humbled. That’s all for now! Check out our video, and have a good laugh! Love ya’ll
