It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a blog since we’ve been without wifi for two months now. I’m not sure what the rest of the race will look like, as far as having wifi readily available, but bear with me through the end. As always, I thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Myanmar was by far my favorite month on the field. I loved the people, the atmosphere, and our ministry. We taught English and bible classes for 5 hours each day, at a missions college in the bush.

It was here that the Holy Spirit stirred up a love for high school aged believers, and showed me so much more of Him that I hadn’t been aware of before. It’s hard to explain, but the Spirit pursued me in a way that made me want to be brave and hold nothing back from Him. I asked the hard questions, and prayed the hard prayers. I wasn’t afraid to let him love me. I’ve learned so much about the Father’s grace for me, and his affection towards me. All I can say to sum it up is that I’m undeniably, most certainly, and completely in love with Him. Even in my shortcomings he still loves me for me. And that’s something I’m eternally grateful for.

Love,
Alisha
