Bagot. What an experience that turned out to be! I would not have thought in a million years that I would ever return to the little aboriginal community; but let’s face it-I fell in love with many of the people; I would TOTALLY go again! I especially discovered that my heart broke for the children in the community. By the end of our stay in Australia, the thought of leaving them actually hurt-BAD!

In spite of the spiritual atmosphere of Bagot, the kids brought a lot of joy. It is funny, looking back the kids were the number one reason why I kept returning to the aboriginal community.

The one thing that the children were lacking the most was drive; out of ALL the kids, only one knew what he wanted to become when he grew up-ONE!

These kids had no sense of hope.

But they had endless love;

Something most kids are lacking in this lost world.

It was a true blessing to be able to get to know the Bagot kids on an intimate level and to be the ears and voice that they deserved.

Before my group left Bagot, we got to see a few of the kids accept Christ as their Savior and even heard them declare positive things about themselves; it was the victory we ALL were hoping to witness!

So here it is…

These are the kids that will forever be engraved in my memory…

Here are some of the children who WILL rise up and become warriors and light in this dark world:
