SAWADEE~
It's been a while since I have posted, but believe it or not… It has been really busy trying to get HERE!
I am in Chiang Mai, Thailand!!
We are staying at a place called Zion Cafe being housed in probably the nicest housing I will see for a while. I am sharing a room with 8 other girls and we have our own bathroom with…. wait for it, wait for it… HOT WATER and INTERNET!
We traveled a little over 36 hours to get here and it was so amazing how God's grace was all over that travel arrangement. We had a LONG flight to Tokyo, Japan where we had a 2 hour layover then flew to Bankok, Thailand where we were met with a double decker bus that would transport us for 12 hours to Chiang Mai. You would think it was terrible to travel for so long, but it did not feel bad at all. I really enjoyed the extra sleep I had not had in a long time and got to watch a couple of movies that I really wanted to watch. On the bus I slept and then woke up with a desire to worship Jesus… So silently but passionately I put on my headphones and worshipped.
I was so overcome with gratefulness to the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to come worship and love on His people. My prayer is that I serve Him well and that I love the people in my world well.
