I have come to the conclusion that I am not the best creative writer and blogging is not the form of expression that comes most naturally to me. It takes time and effort to construct my thoughts in a way that may paint an accurate picture for the reader. While pondering this I realized that I am much better at reporting research and that my training as a Master in Clinical Psychology has led me to be a really great at writing the “matter of fact” documents that describe with accuracy the process of research.

With this in mind I decided to pick a research topic and go with it. So here where we are located, everyone speaks Russian and all of the signs for food are in the Russian alphabet. Which would be awesome if only I spoke Russian. One day I wanted to buy some chocolate but I was unable to due to not being able to communicate the kind that I wanted. So for the sake of knowing what chocolate to buy, I decided to make it my research project.

Procedures:

I chose 3 other candidates with a distinguishing tongue to have a diverse report of the chocolate flavors. I attained 11 different types of chocolates with intriguing wrappers. The team would gather in one room and we would pick the piece that we would look most appetizing at the moment. We would slowly unwrap the chocolate and smell the different scents that this piece would produce and then we would slowly bite into it figuring out all the different flavors that were contained in this piece.

Conclusions: We love chocolate! I never had a hard time finding volunteers to participate in this research. The best one was Lera with a 4.5 rating.

I thoroughly enjoyed this research and I believe it brought Team Awaken and Team Relentless Light a bit closer as we enjoyed a sweet treat. J
