****something I wrote with the Father, a look into my heart (and messy thoughts) as i grieve and celebrate, this sums up my whole world race journey, thank you for taking time to read it****

she knows she must go… so she goes,

she leaves all things familiar and comfortable,

while covered by His covenant of mercy and love,

He has made her a ‘welcome home’ sign in Guatemala, Ethiopia and Thailand.

she steps into unknown ground (to her) and known ground (to Him),

she feels His favor wrapped around her, her every step has been cultivated,

she dances in celebration with passion and joy,

His Being surrounds her, showering her with His glory,

the radiance of His shining face makes all darkness flee.

He has made her a ‘welcome home’ sign in Guatemala,

she has no doubt,

in the depths of her heart she knows that He is her home and refuge,

she sings her song of joy to Him and He strengthens her soul,

she is met with holy kindness and He gifts her with glimpses of heaven,

her being is made new and she steps into humility,

He makes all dead things, living inside of her,

the sound of childlike faith is all around her,

she experiences the fullness of joy,

she’s bursting at the seams,

she sits with Him in His holy garden,

with tears of pure joy, thanking Him.

He has made her a ‘welcome home’ sign in Ethiopia,

she looks up and sees His splendor,

the moon and stars glimmering in the heavens,

displayed like diamonds in their setting,

she is fascinated by them,

everywhere she turns, she’s met with His creativity and workmanship,

her head is lifted when she hides low in shame and fear,

she sees hope in all the eyes of His adopted children,

their faith has the capability to shut evil’s mouth,

she dances in simplicity,

He makes her dreams into realities,

she falls into fear…

He has made her a ‘welcome home’ sign in Thailand,

…but she stands firm in faith,

she’s like a flourishing tree,

she blossoms with every move,

solely planted by His design,

bearing fruit in every season of her life,

she never falls, she never withers,

ever anointed, ever prosperous,

she holds onto Him for dear life

and He doesn’t let her down.

He has made her a ‘welcome home’ sign in the United States,

she cries for help, consumed by fear and doubt,

feeling lonely, forgotten and deserted,

yet she chooses to live in remembrance,

she rests in what He has done and what He will do,

she can breathe again,

the work made in her is not finished and He will complete it one day,

she sits at His feet with deepest awe and bows in worship and adoration,

she has front-row seats, watching every faithful move,

she experiences His glorious majesty streaming from the heavens,

filling the earth with the power of His Name.

with her whole heart,

with her whole life,

with her whole innermost being,

she will always seek Him and love Him.

so she goes…
