Definition of Miracle
1 : an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.
This past week in Lima, Ecuador was titled Miracle Week by our Squad Leadership before it even began. Big things were going to happen, and let me tell you, something is happening.
Going into this week, I still needed almost $1,700 to reach the deadline of $13,000 that was only a week away on September 30th.
As with the rest of my fundraising process, I have felt this eerie calmness of knowing it will be provided for. Imagine yourself split in two, constantly battling between your natural tendency to worry and then constantly being overwhelmed with peace and reassurance.
Leading up to this week and throughout it, I have been praying for funding to come through. Anytime a prayer request is asked for, I throw out my fundraising. Ive written it on the squad prayer request sheets for others to come alongside me in prayer.
Two days ago I saw a donation email. Words could not describe how happy I was to know that the fundraising was still happening! Then the next day, more donations! This morning, another donation! All of this totaling almost $1,500!
When God blesses, He blesses big, especially when it is in the pursuit of furthering His kingdom!
Where that leaves me now is with $246 left to raise by September 30th!
I have a 27 hour overnight bus ride coming up in about 3 hours but I am at peace knowing that God will be working on my behalf.
This is truly a miracle in the making!
