I had a great epiphany yesterday. Not a new one but a great one. No matter how many times I give pieces of my heart away…my heart always remolds and is refilled every time. And that’s the abounding powerful love of Christ. And He transfers that to us. And I know it’s Him and only Him because there have been times in my life where I’ve turned away from God out of shame, guilt, pain, anger etc. And in those time I felt the emptiness and absence of love. Love for myself, and love for others. 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 talks about having an overflow of love for one another and for ALL.
That word ALL is so encompassing. I think we lose sight of that in our daily lives. We think all means our normal friends and family, our job etc. So I challenge you to audit your thinking of what ALL really means. ALL doesn’t exclude those you can’t see, those you don’t want to see, or those you don’t like. It’s having love for ALL.Every person, every thing. As for me and my friends we will be spending 11 months starting in January 2020 showing love to ALL.Bringing the love of Christ to those who are impoverished, trapped in prostitution through human trafficking, imprisoned in every way possible, and the orphaned.
So I ask you to partner today and over the next year. In order to make this dream come true I have to fund raise $19,200.00 over the next year. Talk with God about how you can be a part of this journey. There are tons of ways to be involved. Prayers, donations, volunteering, sharing this journey with your friends(share links on social media, and talk with your friends and family) and dare to imagine loving someone you don’t know through your contribution.
